Small Business Optimism Inches Up

The NFIB Small Business Optimism Index rose 0.1 points in April to 95.9, below its 52-year average of 98.0 for the second consecutive month. The Uncertainty Index fell four points from March to 88, remaining well above its historical average of 68.
Existing-Home Sales Inch Up

Existing-home sales increased by 0.2% month-over-month in April, according to the National Association of Realtors Existing-Home Sales report. Year over year, sales were flat.
Foreclosure Rates Rose in Q1

According to Yahoo! Finance, "Some 118,727 properties were in foreclosure nationwide during the first three months of 2026-up 26% from a year ago and the highest number since 2020, a recent report from housing data and analytics firm ATTOM revealed."
